Appreciation for Bethel Members' Community Service
We extend our deepest gratitude and admiration to every single member of the Bethel Wesleyan who generously dedicated their time and effort to the noble cause of unloading and distributing essential supplies like food and water to communities across Western North Carolina. This act of kindness and selflessness truly embodies the spirit of compassion and unity that defines our church family. We also want to acknowledge other churches and people throughout North Carolina and other states for their invaluable support in donating food, clothing, heaters and other essential products to aid in the recovery efforts. Their generosity and compassion have made a significant impact on the communities in need.
A special commendation is due to Pastor Tim and Jan for their outstanding leadership and unwavering commitment in spearheading this impactful initiative. Their dedication, vision, and organizational skills have been instrumental in the success of this endeavor, inspiring others to join in and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need.
We are immensely proud of the collective effort and hard work put forth by all the individuals involved in this mission. A Prayer of Hope
Heavenly Father,
We gather in prayer, deeply concerned for the people of Western North Carolina affected by Hurricane Helena. We ask for Your divine comfort to fill the hearts of those who have experienced loss—lost homes, belongings, and loved ones. May Your presence bring solace and peace during these tumultuous times.
For those facing minor damage, we seek Your guidance. Help them navigate the challenges ahead and discover hope among the rubble.
For families who have lost everything, we plead for Your mercy. Surround them with neighbors, friends, and community members who can offer support and love during this unimaginable grief.
For volunteers and response teams who are tirelessly providing resources, bless their efforts abundantly. Fuel them with strength and patience as they work day and night to uplift those who are struggling.
Lord, we also pray for our church, Bethel Wesleyan. May we have the resources to provide any items that are needed during these urgent times. Help us remain prepared and willing to extend our hands and hearts to all seeking assistance, now and in the future.
